PRODUCT INFORMATION

We supply premium quality methane rich piped gas (MRG) (Click here to view a comparitive energy chart) from its origin at Sasol Synfuels in Secunda via a national network of pipelines direct to your factory. If you're switching to gas from a different energy source, we facilitate any equipment modifications that might be necessary and provide you with support and guidance during and after you've been connected.

Our gas is economically priced, always on tap and environmentally friendly. By buying our product, our customers are contributing to improving South Africa's air quality, reducing greenhouse gases and saving on fuel storage costs. Many of them also sell their carbon credits.

Free services

Because we aim to be industry's first choice energy partner and build value based relationships with our customers, we offer a number of free services:

Professional advice:

From your first phone call, we'll do an analysis to understand - intimately - your business so that we can tailor our service offerings to the unique character of your operations and organisational culture. Then we'll guide you through every step of the way to getting MRG. Once you're connected, we'll make sure your energy efficiency is optimized and we'll train your staff – technical and senior – to improve their operational/technical understanding.

Safety training:

Our approach to safety is threefold:
  • As a matter of general practice, we conduct a safety training session with all our new customers to ensure that they have a clear understanding of the safety requirements of operating gas equipment
  • We also conduct regular general safety forums for members of industry and our customers to share general information about this issue
  • As we're at the forefront of new safety and legal developments in the gas industry, we also conduct customised safety training at your premises with all of the members of your staff who work with gas

Safety assessments:

Our South African Pipeline Gas Association (SAPGA) registered technical advisors will regularly assess your gas equipment for safety, highlight any shortcomings and recommend remedial action/s. As we are not an authorised gas auditor, customers are requested to note that these assessments do not oblige us to assume any legal obligation regarding the compliance or lack thereof and/or implementation of the recommendations therein. We however, reserve all the rights afforded to us as a prudent supplier as contained in the Gas Supply Agreement.

Energy management and optimisation:

To help you conserve and use your gas optimally, we will analyse any gas equipment you may have, identify any excess energy input (waste of energy) and recommend corrective action. This service is carried out using our high tech flue-gas analysing equipment to enable us to measure and document the operational parameters of your gas equipment.
